深化中国学术视野中的古代希腊与罗马哲学研究

本文回眸了古希腊罗马哲学在中国的历程,指出了改革开放以来逐步进向以中国学术视野做有学术创新的研究,但需要加强某些薄弱环节;本文论述了古希腊罗马哲学的现代意义,为加强中西哲学与文化传统的整体性交往,需要深化中国学术视野中的古希腊罗马哲学研究;本文还就跨文化研究古希腊罗马哲学的视野与方法,提出一些供参考的见解.     

当代文化哲学范式的回归

从古希腊开始到近现代,西方哲学的发展经历了一个自然科学化的长期发展过程:哲学的天文学化、生物学化、物理学化、数学化等的不断发展和强化,留下了一条明显的自然科学化轨迹,也形成了一种哲学理解范式。这种理解范式的特征是:以关注自然为主,并用把握自然的准则来把握人自身。这种哲学范式追问世界的本源、始基、本质、理念、形式、法则、规律,寻求世界的统一性、同一性、同质性、一般性、整体性、永恒性和必然性。其理论形态主要表现为意识哲学、     

古典的兴起——2010年全国古希腊哲学研讨会综述

2010年8月21-22日,由中国人民大学哲学院和中国社会科学院<世界哲学>编辑部共同主办的"2010年全国古希腊哲学研讨会"在北京召开.这次研讨会是近年来国内古希腊哲学学界的第一次全国性会议,是在之前举行过3次的古希腊哲学论坛的基础上召开的,也衔接了8月20日由人民出版社和浙江大学共同在京举办的<希腊哲学史>第四卷出版发布会,共同构成国内古希腊哲学研究的盛事.     

论维特根斯坦的“哲学语法”概念

试析当代中国伊斯兰哲学-思想研究的问题与主线

伊斯兰哲学与阿拉伯哲学之关系、伊斯兰哲学史与伊斯兰思想史的区分是当代中国伊斯兰教哲学—思想研究中的两个主要问题。围绕第一个问题形成了两种截然不同的观点,一是"名异实同说",一是"名实皆异说"。由于"伊斯兰"的含义远远超出"阿拉伯"一词,因此伊斯兰哲学不能等同于以阿拉伯文记载的哲学。区分两者有助于突破"从铿迭到伊本.鲁西德"的旧框架,以含义更为宽泛的"伊斯兰哲学"或"伊斯兰思想"重新审视伊斯兰思想的历程。同时,国内学界一般将与伊斯兰信仰相关的理性思辨划分为三项内容,即伊斯兰自然哲学、伊斯兰教义学以及苏菲神秘主义思想。狭义的"伊斯兰哲学"概念仅相当于在古希腊哲学影响下产生的伊斯兰自然哲学。故应采纳涵盖面更广的"伊斯兰思想",非易于造成误解与混淆的"伊斯兰哲学"。1949年以来,在长达60余年的时间里,当代中国伊斯兰哲学-思想研究形成了一条内在主线,即围绕"伊斯兰哲学"的名称与内涵展开的各种"正名"与"求实"运动。

Significant components of psychoanalytic technique, and the theory that underlies it, seem to remain buried in our past, but are central to the growth of psychoanalysis as a treatment method based on understanding a patient's mind. By updating technique based on a theory of mind with structure, the author views the increasing freedom of the patient's mind as central to the curative process, and takes the position that in interpretive work, the analyst needs to pay more attention to the patient's capacity to meaningfully receive and integrate the analyst's interventions.     

Back to the Unchanging Past

The standard philosophical view of time travel has it that time travelers cannot change the past. It has been argued by some that the standard view is false, and that this can be shown using a two‐dimensional model of time. I defend the standard view against this attack. I show, first, that the addition of a second temporal dimension does not provide a model of changing the past and, second, that neither does the addition of n temporal dimensions for any n > 1.     

Back to the actual future

The purpose of the paper is to rethink the role of actuality in the branching model of possibilities. We investigate the idea that the model should be enriched with an additional factor—the so-called Thin Red Line—which is supposed to represent the single possible course of events that gets actualized in time. We believe that this idea was often misconceived which prompted some unfortunate reactions. On the one hand, it suggested problematic semantic models of future tense and and on the other, it provoked questionable lines of criticism. We reassess the debate and point to potential pitfalls, focusing on the semantic dimension of the Thin Red Line theory. Our agenda transcends the semantics, however. We conclude that semantic considerations do not threaten the Thin Red Line theory and that the proper debate should be carried in the domain of metaphysics.

This is a brief sequel to Max Black's classic dialogue on the Identity of Indiscernibles. Interlocutor A defends the bundle theory by endorsing the (by now popular) view according to which Black's world does not contain two indiscernible spheres but rather a single, bi‐located sphere. His opponent, B, objects that A cannot distinguish such a world from a world with a single, uniquely located sphere, hence that the view in question adds nothing to A's original response to Black's challenge. A is simply denying that there can be worlds with two or more indiscernible entities.
