Astrological Signs as Determinants of Personality Traits:An Empirical Study

The fundamental hypothesis of astrology is that the position of the planets at the moment of a person's birth can be used to determine his or her personality traits and to indicate the major issues he or she is likely to encounter.16PF scores were obtained from 165 first-year university students. Date and time of birth were requested to establish the positions of the astrological signs for each individual. Our findings generally did not support theories that personality tendencies are determined by astrological signs.
