样例在理解时间相关事件中的作用

The Role of Exemplars in the Comprehension of Temporally Related Events

Two experiments investigated the interpretation of temporally related event sequences that involve themselves or well-known others.Experiment 1 confirmed Colcombe and colleague's finding(2002) in Chinese condition,that is people did not use the prototype that had formed to interpret sequences of behaviors that themselves or a well-known person performing.Experiment 2 showed that the reason for this finding was people used an exemplar of the protagonist engaged in this activity to interpret this type of information.It also found that even there was not such exemplar exited,people still did not used the prototype that had formed.
