| Abstract: | This study explored the relationship between the swearing action and the concept of integrity in Chinese culture from the perspective of embodied cognition and further explored whether the swearing action would affect college students'sense of integrity.The results showed that:(1)the subjects who saw a persontaking the oath posture were more likely to associate this person with integrity;(2)the subjects who took the oath posture could experience a higher sense of integrity.Conclusions:there is an unconscious automatic link between the oath action and the concept of integrity,and making the oath action can enhance personal sense of integrity. |
