Contemporary phenomenology and hermeneutics have redefined the relationship between "us and abstract science", and strive to establish a new theoretical framework beyond the dualism of mind and body. Medical narrative is an effective extension of the history of medical narrative through the philosophical interpretation of embodied subject by phenomenology and the resulting intersubjectivity theory.
