医学史研究的守正创新和与时俱进——评《张慰丰医学史文集》

Upholding Tradition,Innovation, and Keeping Pace with the Times in the Study of Medical History: A Review of Collection of Medical History by Zhang Wei-feng

Medical history is the scientific study of the development and laws of medicine. The book, "Collection of Medical History by Zhang Wei-feng", systematically and comprehensively presents the essence of Professor Zhang Wei-feng's thoughts on medical history, his academic exploration process, and his personal academic style. By analyzing professor Zhang Wei-feng's academic achievements and combining the requirements of medical education and development, it is proposed that medical history research needs to consolidate its foundation, clarify the development history of the discipline and academic pedigree, strengthen the training of professionals, promote cooperation and exchange on multiple platforms, continuously explore new theories and methods, and reflect on cutting-edge and hot issues from the perspectives of the history of diseases, social history, cultural history, and intellectual history. Attention should also be given to the significance of medical museums and the integration of ideological and political courses related to medical history, in order to actively advance the construction and development of the discipline of medical history in line with contemporary demands.
