Abstract:For a long time, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) practitioners of successive dynasties have different opinions on the interpretation of the pulse manifestations of the five internal organs in Huangdi's Classic of Internal Medicine. The pulse manifestation of the five internal organs is closely related to the four seasons and the five elements theory. The five elements theory adopts the method of analogy to encompass all things in the world, and the "form" is also endowed with the connotation of the five elements according to its own characteristics. Based on the forms of the five elements, this study adopts the research methods of literature textual research and re-discusses to reconfirm moderate pulse of the five internal organs proposed by Huangdi's Classic of Internal Medicine and demonstrate the relationship between the five types of pulses", namely, wood straight, earth square, metal circle, fire tip, water curve" and "taut pulse in spring, hooking-pulse in summer, dai-pulse in spleen, feathery-pulse in autumn, and stony-pulse in winter", so as to restore the true connotation of the pulse shape related to the five zang meridians in classical TCM, and expand the application of the five elements form in the four diagnosis, in order to enrich the content of the four seasons and five elements philosophical system and better serve clinical practice.
Keywords:the form of the five elements  five manifestations of pulse  moderate pulse of the five internal organs
