Placebo Analgesia as a Phenomenon of Cognitive Penetration

The effect of placebo analgesia has been widely recognized in the medical field. The theory of conditioning and the theory of expectation have been proposed by the medical community in order to explain this effect, neither of which can be unified in academia, however. We compare the mechanism of placebo analgesia with cognitive penetration through the analysis of the definition and feature, arguing that placebo analgesia is a phenomenon of cognitive penetration and that cognitive penetration theory can provide placebo analgesia with a systematic theoretical framework from the philosophical point of view and provide the medical circle with systematic research ideas and theoretical frameworks for in-depth research on placebo analgesia.
