Preliminary development of the Body Image Affect Scale |

| Abstract: | A new body-image questionnaire was developed to measure the affect associated with a negative body image. Responses showed a Cronbach coefficient alpha of .84 and a negative correlation of -.21 with using humor in times of stress. |
