| Abstract: | The purport of the chapter of Yi you tai ji(There is Taiji,the Grand Ultimate,in the Yi)in Xi ci zhuan is neither to interpret a concrete process of divination by yarrow stalks,nor to establish a cosmological producing mode,but to interpret the origin of the eight trigrams by the cosmological producing mode.It can be seen that there is no direct relationship between the divination by Yi and the philosophy conceived in Yi. |
