自内障手术治疗的发展与思考

Progress and Consideration of the Cataract Surgery

It is well known that cataract is one of the leading causes of blindness. At present, surgery with the use of an intraocular lens is the only method of cataract treatment. Along with great progress in cataract surgery, the conception is changing from the vision resuming surgery to the refractive surgery. The aim of the surgery is not only to extract the cataract but also to restore the nearly normal visual function. With the perfecting technique of surgery, doctors could pay more attention to the patients＇ feelings and the visual experiences during the surgery besides the better visual results.
