Extinction or Renaissance: the Future of Humanistic Psychology

At the end of the 20th century humanistic psychology came across two crises from internal and external perspectives,but the social culture and the base of psychology that it established is still existing.The mainstream psychology,especially the development of positive psychology will provide the opportunity for her renaissance and in the future the humanistic psychologists need to re-examine their mission,clarify the study themes,perfect the research approaches,maintain the attitude of openness and enhance the institutional management,all of which are required to promote the humanistic psychology to the track of renaissance.
