Frontiers and New Trends of the Research on Children's Cognitive Development

Owing to the advancement of cognitive developmental theories and the improvement on the methodology of psychological researches in the last decades, there has been great progress in the research on cognitive development. As we can see, infancy investigations are just starting, and the emergence of a lot of new topics has renewed some traditional research fields. Also, the rapid development in cognitive neuroscience, cognitive behavioral genetics, and applied developmental science has had,and will have great implication in the field of cognitive developmental psychology.
