Semantic Differential Factor Structure Stability Across Subject,Concept, and Time Differences

Semantic differential ratings by 90 students at the University of Maryland toward 6 political concepts were obtained before and after the 1964 Presidential Election. When the repsonses of Johnson and Goldwater supporters ere combined in a single factor analysis, 2 factors were extracted. These are described as the evaluative factor and a dynamism factor.
