Review and Implication of Swedish Medical No-fault Compensation System

The Swedish medical no-fault compensation system is a disciplinary system which is independent of the negligence of medical personnel.This system has the effect of relieving doctors' worries and maintaining patient safety.After analyzing the characteristics of the system,such as social insurance attributes,coexisting with the litigation system,improving the relationship between doctors and patients and improving patient safety,this paper puts forward that this system can increase the transparency of medical information,promote the establishment of medical damage relief system and provide the resolution of medical disputes by non-litigation,so as to remove the medical errors that may cause medical injury from the root and properly protect the interests of both doctors and patients and ease the tense doctor-patient relationship.
