摘    要:《本草问答》为清末唐荣川所撰,其倡导中西医汇通,是中西医汇通学派的早期代表人之一。该书重在理论探讨,是唐荣川与学生围绕中医药理论中某一类药物或某些共性问题,以问答体裁进行讨论,其精华不在“本草”二字,而在这一问一答中尽显淋漓,包涵了传统中医药理论、西洋格致之学以及唐氏多年临床实践经验,融会贯通,颇具启发,引用传统的阴阳五行、形色气味、取类比象等学说,探导出药物之“真性能”。就书中关于中医药传统理论与现代物理学的妙解互证做出总结,以期促进中医药理论的传承与发展。

Abstract:Materia Medica Questions and Answers was written by Tang Rongchuan in the late Qing Dynasty. Tang advocated the integration of Chinese and Western medicine. Tang and his students discussed a certain kind of medicine or some common problems in the theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) in the form of question and answer.The focus of that book was "Questions and Answers" rather than "Materia Medica", which contained the theory of TCM, modern physics and Tang's years of clinical experience. It was inspiring to explore the "true essence" of TCM.This paper summarized the relationship between the theory of TCM and modern physics in the book, so as to promote the inheritance and development of the theory of TCM.
