Institution: | Dr. Willard A. Kerr is Associate Professor of Psychology and Education at the Illinois Institute of Technology. To this post he brings industrial experience gained as Director of Industrial Music Research at Radio Corporation of America and two years as Aviation Psychologist, U. S. Navy. He has previously taught at Tulane and Purdue Universities. He received the Ph.D. degree from the latter institution in 1942 and was on the staff of the Purdue Research Foundation. The results of his work as Director of Industrial Music Research are published as Experiments on the Effects of Music on Factory Workers. He has also published articles on labor turnover, employee attitudes and social attitudes. Dr. Kerr is a member of the American Psychological Association. |
