Veterans Vocational Rehabilitation: A Program in Transition

The VA has authorization to arrange for virtually any service needed by the disabled veteran to assist in accomplishing the purposes of vocational rehabilitation. This article provides a program overview of the provisions and process of the VA's rehabilitation effort and discusses the implications of training disabled veterans under the G.I. Bill. A number of agency actions are detailed to point out areas of potential improvement in the rehabilitation movement.
