应重视中草药对华法令药效影响

Focus on Herbs Impact to Efficacy of Warfarin

Warfarin is widely use in treatment for atrial fibrillation and cardiac post-operation,but its therapeutic window is limited,has large dose-individual differences and complicated by a variety of bleeding events.It needs to control patient＇s international normalized ratio （INR） strictly. Herbal medicine widely used in China, the study found many types of herbal medicine through a variety of ways to influence warfarin metabolism, leading to thrombosis, cerebrovascular accidents and other complications occurred.Clinically,the potential threat from herbs to Warfarin user needs to be understood and identify function of herbs interaction with Warfarin to ensure the safety of drug use.
