| Abstract: | Zhu Xi made great contributions to the study of Great Learning. His work Illustrations to Great Learning abundantly enriched moral education theories in the theoretical basis, moral goals, educational process, criteria, and methods of moral education. The moral education pattern of ancient China were illustrated in Illustrations to Great Learning offers cultural nourishment to the civic moral education today, with special significance to ideological and political education of college students. |
