| Abstract: | Dahl selected lines of salt-sensitive rats respond to hypertensinogenic stimuli such as sodium or behavioral stressors with marked elevations in blood pressure. In contrast, Dahl salt-resistant rats do not. The two lines appear to differ in terms of heart-rate reactivity and central nervous system organization. |
