Abstract: | Several techniques for the construction of realistic dummies for use as stimulus objects in behavioral research are described. This paper details several alternative methods for making exact copies (castings) of a living or dead fish specimen. The methods described herein can be extended to construct castings of amphibians, reptiles, and certain invertebrates for use in ethological and psychological research. |
