Abstract: | Patients regularly make demands for responses that go beyond listening and nonjudgmental exploration. Some contemporary therapists frame these demands as a mobilized developmental longing that can lead to a positive enactment. This article proposes a conceptual framework that allows inquiry into spontaneously emerging positive enactments as a clinical resource. |
