Abstract:Organizational commitment is a useful construct for understanding employee behavior. The Organizational Commitment Questionnaire (Porter et al. 1974) has been used extensively to operationalize this construct, but its dimensionality is unclear. The present work assesses the dimensionality of the OCQ using two sales force samples.
