| Abstract: | Many hexagrams and images were used in the Dream of the Red Mansion to provide metaphors. Many plots and details concerning LIN Dai-yu conceal the Hexagram Jing （Well,49# in the Version of the Zhouyi）; The Dharma name of Miao yu hints the meanings of the Hexagram Dui （Joy,Pleasure,58#）; The person out of the banisters and the Tie lan （Iron Banister） Temple hint the Hexagram Kan （Abysmal,29#）; And the Da guan yuan （Grand View Garden） was used as a metaphor of the Hexagram Guan （Contemplation,20#）. |
