摘    要:儒家文化作为统摄中国人生活方式和情感体验方式的文化形态,尽管在20世纪初其政治权威性受到了前所未有的挑战,但并没有被截然切断。中国现代文学之所以始终有一种强烈的社会功利性目的,可以说与20世纪初中国文学观念的现代转型密切相关。转型时期梁启超坚持的文学“开启民智”理论和王国维强调的文学艺术“审美自治”观,应该说和儒家文化的文学功用论的深层结构是同构的。

Abstract:As the dominating cultural patterns of Chinese life style and of their emotional experiences, although its political authority was seriously challenged, Confucian culture is not cut off entirely. Modern Chinese literature is utilitarian, which, in the author's opinion, is closely related to the conceptual transition of modern Chinese literature at the end of 20th century. At that time Liang Qichao advocated a literary theory of enlightening people and Wang Guowei stressed literary aesthetic autonomy and both of the two are isomorphism with the Confucian literature.
