Affiliation: | Research scientist at the Oregon Social Learning Center and Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Oregon. She developed a research program on early social development that emphasizes family processes and the impact of gender on development. She provided direct research training and supervision in the area of social development, and headed studies on the origins of mental health problems and the effects of fathering. The field lost an important contributor when she died in 1998.;Currently a doctoral student in clinical psychology and a graduate teaching fellow at the University of Oregon. Her primary research interests are the effects of maltreatment on children and adults, the psychology of women and female adolescent development, and feminist perspectives on psychopathology.;Currently a doctoral student in clinical psychology and a graduate teaching fellow at the University of Oregon. Her primary research interests are gender-role development, gender differences in delinquency, and the psychology of women. |
