| Abstract: | To explore the significance of the level serum leptin and hypertension in Chinese population. All related studies about the association between serum leptin and hypertension were searched in CNKI, CBM, VIP. Data were retrieved literautres and analyzed by Stata 12.0. The serum leptin concentrations of hypertension group were higher than those of control group （P〈0.01）; The serum leptin in aged patients with hypertension was significantly higher than that in the control group（P〈0.01）. Leptin may involve in the pathogenesis and development of hypertension and monitoring of leptin mav be helpful for the evaluation of hvDertension. |
