Raltitrexed Therapeutic Efficacy of Elderly Patients with Advanced Colon Cancer

Compare raltitrexed and 5-fluorouracil and oxaliplatin clinical efficacy of the treatment of elderly patients with advanced colon cancer and prognosis. 42 elderly patients with advanced colon cancer by pathologically diagnosis were divided into group A and group 13, respectively raltitrexed and 5-fluorouracil/leucovorin and oxaliplatin chemotherapy were observed efficacy, adverse reactions and survival analysis. Results of A, B groups of patients with efficiency close, no difference, group A and group B, time to progress was 7.5 months and 5.2 months respectively, a significant difference （P〈0.05）. Group A and group 13, no significant difference in overall survival. Raltitrexed oxaliplatin for advanced colon cancer in elderly effective care program, although the efficacy and 5-fluorouracil group program close to, but less toxic, easy to medication, should be promoted in clinical practice.
