Abstract: | Abstract The primary areas where a technology of social validation can impact the day-to-day functioning of the practitioner of applied behavior analysis are reviewed. Specifically, contributions in the literature of social validation to the subject of designating a) responses, b) strategies and c) outcomes as desirable/undesirable are examined with regard to their practical significance for the practitioner serving the developmentally disabled. |
