On "Shi" in Guan Zi

The view of"Shi"is an important clue to understand Chinese traditional thoughts.In cer- tain way,the extension and practice of"Shi"carry forward the traditional agricultural society."Shi"is a basic kernel concept in Guan Zi.It maintained its original concept and essence features,blended with"Qi","Yinyang",five elements thoughts and syncretized with Taoism,moral and law.As a log- ic norm,"Shi"plays a guiding role in administration of state affairs,keeping nation in peace and state- craft ideology.
