| Abstract: | Can individual differences in general reasoning ability be reduced to an elementary cognitive process or isolated to a neural circuit? A breakthrough neuroimaging study finds that fluid intelligence and attention control are behaviorally linked via the neural activity in brain areas involved in resolving cognitive conflict. |
