| Abstract: | The anatomical locus of the refractoriness of the N1-P2 wave of the visual vertex evoked potential is examined using the dichoptic viewing paradigm (Turvey, 1973). N1-P2 amplitude to the second stimulus of a pair delivered to the eye contralateral to the first stimulus is found to exhibit the same amplitude depression as a second stimulus delivered to the ipsilateral eye. A central locus for N1-P2 refractoriness is inferred from this result. |
