Ethical Responsibility for Anesthetist in the Perioperative Time

With the development of medical science and the change of medical model, it is necessary that anesthetist should deal with the special ethical responsibility of the profession. By analyzing what is required in the perioperative time, this article discusses the ethical responsibility that anesthetist should conform to. For example, in the preoperative time, anesthetist should examine patient carefully and establish a reasonable anesthesia programme according to the optimal principle. Moreover, anesthetist should follow the principle of informed consent, prevent the occurrence of intraoperative awareness, comply with the protective medical system, make patients recover with safety and easement, give them proper psychological guidance and so on.
