The Assessment of Aspirin--associated Hemorrhage in Patients with Hypertension

Hypertension is a systemic disease which can lead to multiple target organ diseases. Despite treatment, there is often a higher incidence of cerebrocardiovascular complications in patients with hypertension than in normal--tensive individuals. Accumulative evidences have shown that aspirin can significantly reduce major cardiovascular events without increasing major bleeding. In this review we discussed aspirin associated hemorrhage as well as how to reduce the risks in pa tients with hypertension.
