John McCumber received his Ph.D. from the University of Toronto and has taught at the University of Michigan— Dearborn and at the Graduate Faculty, New School for Social Research. He is currently an Assistant Professor at Northwestern University and has published several articles on Hegel, as well as on Heidegger, Plato, and Plotinus.
