After obtaining a Ph.D. in 1976 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Professor Burke taught Philosophy for three years at Bosphorus University in Istanbul. Since returning to the USA, he has been Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Indiana University-Indianapolis. Professor Burke has published several articles in analytical metaphysics, including one in Mind.
