Abstract: | The ideas in this account emerged during a walk along the foreshore of the Parramatta River. As such the ideas represent a version of the turbulent flow of sense making that is stimulated by the chaotic interaction of physical, intellectual, and spiritual topographies. The article illustrates the power of naturally occurring metaphors to provoke solutions to intellectual problems, in this case the challenges of managing at and across intellectual, physical, and spiritual realms. |
