晚期癌症患者治疗决策的思考

Reflection on the Treatment Decision-making for Patients with Advanced Cancer

Not all patients with advanced cancer could be cured by modern medical treatment. There were a great disparity between reality and expectation. WHO emphasized to prevent the misuse of resources ＇by ensuring that treatment is provided only to those patients whose cancers are at a stage where they would benefit from treatment. The therapeutic option should be abided not only by rule principle and basic evidence principle, but also by virtue principle, which consider about patient＇s autonomy and justice for social and individual benefits. Most cancer patients require palliative care, which can be provided simply and inexpensively medical services for patients and their families.
