Abstract: | The application of methods developed for individual work in Cognitive-Analytic Therapy (CAT) as applied to a time-limited group are described. Written and diagrammatic reformulation of patients problems, prepared in pre-group individual sessions, were shared in the group and served to heighten the group process. This is illustrated by following the course of one individual through the group. Outcome measures are reported separately (see Duignan & Mitzman, in press). |
