The Politics of Touch in Therapy: A Response to Willison and Masson

Conclusions made by Willison and Masson about touch as an adjunct to communication in therapy are questioned. The author presents additional data and recommends that counselors refrain from touching clients until further research consistently shows if and when touch improves treatment outcomes.
