| Abstract: | As the root of Chinese social culture, Zhouyi not only possesses the function of solving doubts, but also molded the spirit of nerving self into ceaseless activity, broadening virtue to sustain things, adapting to novelty, and keeping harmonious. In addition, it fostered Chinese intuitive thinking by images, holistic thinking of harmony, and logic thinking by Yin and Yang, having exerted indispensable influences upon Chinese natural sciences, such as astrology, medicine, health preservation, mathematics, art of architecture, and so on. |
