| 摘 要： | 新生儿包皮环切术通常被认为能减少尿路感染、成人阴茎癌甚至艾滋病毒感染危险,许多国家和地区常规为新生儿行包皮环切术。但近年来许多学者从医学和伦理等角度对此提出疑问,主张慎重对待新生儿包皮环切术。

| Abstract: | Neonatal circumcision is a common surgical procedure in male infants. There are potential health benefits to circumcision, including reduction in the risk of pyelonephritis in infancy, penile cancer in adulthood and HIV in Africa. But the benefits and risks of circumcision are evenly balanced by the advantages and risks of being uncircumcised. It is important that the families be aware of the risks of circumcision and practitioners be aware of the medical and ethical arguments against routine circumcision. |
