Transcend the Tradition: Recent Progress of Dynamical Evolutionary Psychology

Dynamical evolutionary psychology is based on the fimetional analysis of fundamental adaptive goals and decision- making roles, and focuses on the dynamical analysis of psychological process at all levels. Dynamical evolutionary psychology insists on the adaptive explanation view about psychological mechanism, at the same time integrates gene, experience, and environment into its explanatory framework of psycho- logical development, and thus persists more thoroughly on the view of interaction between organism and environment. So it surmounts the limi- tations of traditional evolutionary psychology at a certain extend. However, because of ignoring the effect of social practice, what it reveals is still the image of human＇s development in biological sense, and the dynamical analysis of psychological process is just metaphysical.
