从黄禹锡事件看伦理学对科学的重要性

克隆干细胞研究是一个与生命伦理密切相关的领域。当被誉为“克隆大王”、“韩国最高科学家”的黄禹锡因“卵子风波”的伦理问题不得不向公众道歉,并辞去世界干细胞研究中心的主任职务时,从科学家、政府官员到普通大众,支持黄禹锡,认为伦理学阻遏了干细胞研究的人不在少数。直到黄禹锡学术造假事件被揭露,人们才意识到问题的严重性,“黄禹锡神话”才因此破灭。科学不允许作假,科学也不允许作恶。黄禹锡事件给我们最大的启示是:伦理学对科学发展来说是重要的,科学研究不仅要遵循求真的学术道德,而且要遵循求善的人本道德,求善才能更好地求真!

The Importance of Ethics for Science from the Perspective of Hwang Woo-suk's Event

Cloning stem cell research is closely related to bioethics. When the praised "Cloning King" and "Korea's Highest Scientist" Hwang Woo-suk had to apologize to people and resign his duty as head of the World Stem Cell Hub for the sake of the ethical scandal of the "Egg Wave", many people, including scientists, civil officer and public masses, supported Hwang as ever, and believed that it is the ethics that stops the development of scientific research. People realized the value of ethics till Hwang committing fraud and fabrication of embryonic stem cells research. Science does not allow fraud and fabrication, and it also does not allow doing evil. The biggest reveal of Hwang's Event is that ethics is important to science. Scientific research not only should obey academic ethics which pursues truth, but also should obey humanism ethics which pursues goodness. Pursuing goodness has positive role for pursuing truth.
