The development of youth counselling services

Youth counselling services have sprung up in various parts of Britain over the last few years. Some have collapsed after an initial few months; others have grown steadily, though they tend still to be operating at a reasonably modest level. An analysis of their annual reports and other documents reveals considerable diversity in the nature of the services and the clientele they serve.
