Abstract: | Bodywork is a particularly effective means of counseling males when used in a way that recognizes men's fear of therapy itself, of being touched, of being vulnerable, especially if the counselor is male. This article explores, in brief, the theory behind bodywork, the necessity of verbal therapy along with it, and methods for unblocking males' expression of fear, hurt, anger, and pleasure. |
