Abstract: | This study was conducted to test adolescent female students (mean age 19.7 years) on three different tests of volume conservation in order to determine whether the procedure used had an effect on the ability to conserve. Results revealed that the LaVatelli water displacement test was significantly more difficult (63% passed) than the Elkind test (91% passed) or Piaget's test (100% passed). |
