| Abstract: | This is an essay on the history of family diagnosis and therapy. The role of the family in the etiology of psychopathology was a longstanding "blind spot." Family psychotherapy is gradually developing as a form of psychotherapy with indications and contraindications of its own. Comparison studies with other forms of psychotherapy should be done. |
