| Abstract: | In ancient China and Greece,civilization belongs to essence of politics.Civilization means that people improve and complete themselves according to an ideal.The modern politics sustains the order of human common life by laws and institutions,while the ancients by civilization.With the great transformation in our understanding of politics,civilization is no longer the end of politics and politics has nothing to do with civilization. |
